I’m a Staff / Principal-level Product Designer with 20+ years shaping complex B2B, enterprise and high-trust products. I’m strongest where workflows are fragmented, systems are hard to use and product decisions need to become clear, buildable and aligned.
I work across problem framing, research, workflow and service design, prototyping, UI, accessibility, design systems and delivery. Earlier front-end engineering means I can bridge design intent and implementation; earlier operational and customer-facing roles mean I pay attention to cost-to-serve, risk, prioritisation and how work actually moves through an organisation.
I use AI pragmatically across research synthesis, concept exploration, workflow modelling, prototyping, UX writing and delivery preparation—while keeping human judgement, accessibility, trust and evidence in the loop.

I make decisions visible. Research, analytics, prototypes and explicit trade-offs turn evidence into a direction that product and engineering can act on.
I design for adoption as well as usability. Systems, standards and governance matter when they help good decisions survive across teams and over time.
I use AI where it creates leverage—synthesis, exploration, modelling, prototyping and delivery preparation—without outsourcing judgement, accessibility, trust or accountability.
Outside of work, I bounce between tactile crafts (linocut, clay, drawing, oil paint), macro photography, and cooking, especially historical recipes and the constraints behind them. I also build calm, useful systems in the real world, including small Arduino projects, Meshtastic off grid messaging experiments, and an evolving pair of smart mirrors. That curiosity keeps me experimenting with new tools, from AI workflows to hardware tinkering.
When I need a reset, I go long-distance bikepacking. The mix of planning, self-sufficiency, and improvisation feels surprisingly similar to building good products.
